Michael Wong joined Jinding in 2022, with over 10 years’ experience in the legal, property and construction industry.  He commenced his legal career with Maddocks Lawyers in 2012 and was admitted into the legal profession as an Australian Lawyer and officer of the Supreme Court of Victoria. During this time in private practice, Michael developed extensive experience acting for institutional and private clients on an array of property, construction, finance and general commercial matters. In 2018, Michael embarked on his in-house journey and acted as General Counsel for Australian based property developers New Sky Group and Wel.Co Group. Michael takes a commercially focused approach to legal matters and prides himself on his attention to detail and his ability to build strong relationships. He has been recognised as a finalist for Construction and Real Estate Lawyer of the Year in the Lawyer's Weekly Corporate Counsel Awards for 2023 and 2024.  Michael holds both Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees BA/LLB(Hons) from Monash University. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and maintains a principal practicing certificate as an Australian Lawyer under the Legal Profession Uniform Law 2014 (Victoria).
